Resolving an order that is on hold
When we cannot continue producing an order, we put it on hold. You are notified in the Dashboard (and by email if you enabled production email notifications), and the order shows a Production on hold banner with the reason.
Previously you had to contact support to get a hold lifted. From now on you can resolve most holds yourself, once you have solved the problem described in the reason.
Resolve the hold
Open the paused order. The Production on hold banner shows the reason production was paused.
Once you have actually solved that problem, click Resolve issue in the banner. You are asked to tick a box confirming you have resolved the issue before the action becomes available. After you confirm, the hold is cleared and production continues.
Only resolve a hold when the underlying problem is genuinely solved. Production continues based on your confirmation, and we record who resolved it. If you are unsure what the reason means or how to solve it, contact support@printeers.com.
