How to change a shipping address for an open order
If your customer gave you the wrong address, you can often change it while the order is still open. Two things to note first:
- Once an order has shipped, the address can no longer be changed.
- We do not change order details by phone.
Change the address in the Dashboard
Orders placed through the Dashboard, the API, the WooCommerce plugin or Order Desk can be updated in the Dashboard. Open the order and click ‘Change shipping address’.
If the ‘Change shipping address’ option is not shown, the order has already shipped and the address can no longer be changed.
We process orders all day, so we cannot guarantee the change is made in time once an order is in production.
