Publish and manage blueprints
Once you have created a blueprint, the Blueprints overview is where you manage it. Each row shows the title, price, case type, color, print side and a thumbnail of the artwork. Use the search box to find a specific blueprint, and select any row to open its detail page.
Edit a blueprint
On a blueprint's detail page you can review the print image, the generated preview and the list of device variants it covers. To change the price, select the price field, enter a new amount and save. To remove a blueprint you no longer sell, use the delete action in the header.
If the blueprint has a preview, the download preview action in the header saves it as a PNG file, so you can use it as a product image in your own store.
The variant list updates on its own as we add new device models, so there is usually nothing to maintain there by hand.
Publish to your stores
The stores section shows every store this blueprint is connected to, along with its integration and sync status. Stores you selected while creating the blueprint already appear here. To publish to another store, select add to store and pick the store you want from the dropdown. To stop selling it somewhere, open the menu on a store row and choose to remove it. On WooCommerce stores this moves the product to the store's trash, so you can still restore it from within WooCommerce if you removed it by mistake. On Shopify stores the product itself stays in your shop; Printeers simply stops updating it, so archive or delete it in Shopify yourself if you no longer want it.
How the blueprint reaches your customers depends on your integration:
- Shopify stores sync automatically. The menu on each store row lets you jump straight to the product in Shopify.
- API stores let you download the blueprint as a CSV file from the same menu, so you can import it into your own system.
Keep stores in sync
Each connected store shows whether it is up to date or needs sync. If a store is flagged as needing a sync, for example after a price change or a new variant, that simply means the latest version has not yet reached that store. Shopify stores catch up automatically; for API stores, download the refreshed CSV.
Prefer to manage the product title or price yourself, directly in your own store? Each Shopify and WooCommerce store row has sync title and sync price checkboxes. Untick one and Printeers stops updating that field on the store's product, so edits you make in your store survive future syncs.
The title is still set once when the product is first created, because a product cannot be created without one. The price is different: with sync price unticked we never send a price at all. If you untick it before the product exists in your store, the product arrives without a price for you to set yourself, and Shopify shows it as 0.00 until you do. Products are created as a draft, so nothing goes on sale before you have set your prices.
Device models we add later follow the same rule: we never set their price. In Shopify a new model copies the price of the first model in your product, and in WooCommerce it arrives without a price and cannot be bought until you set one. Either way, check new models before you publish them.
Ticking a checkbox again syncs that field right away. These checkboxes do not affect API stores: the CSV download always contains the title and price.
