MagSafe-charger compatible cases

Cases with built-in MagSafe

These cases have MagSafe magnets built into the case. A MagSafe charger snaps into place and charges reliably, and the case holds MagSafe accessories such as wallets, mounts and our MagSafe ring holders.

• Hybrid cases with MagSafe: a magnetic ring with a white alignment indicator on the back. Keep the ring in mind when designing transparent cases.
• Tough cases with MagSafe: MagSafe integrated into the dual-layer shell, available for select iPhone and Samsung Galaxy S phones.

Cases that charge through the case

These cases have no magnets, but a MagSafe charger still charges the phone through the case. The charger does not snap into place, and magnetic accessories such as MagSafe ring holders do not stay attached.

Cases that do not support MagSafe charging

• Wallet cases: the structure and material of the wallet block MagSafe charging.
• Hybrid cases without MagSafe: these are not designed for MagSafe charging. Choose the MagSafe version instead.
• Tough cases without MagSafe: these are not designed for MagSafe charging. Choose the MagSafe version instead.
