Set a fallback phone number and email per store

Some carriers will not accept a shipment unless it carries both a phone number and an email address for the recipient. Since these became mandatory, an order that reached us without those details could not be labelled and had to wait for your attention.

From now on you can set a fallback phone number and fallback email address per store. When an order arrives without a phone number or email address, we use the fallback you configured instead, and the order ships without interruption. Anything the order does provide is always kept; the fallback only fills in what is missing.

You no longer need to ask us to set this up for you. Open your store in the Dashboard, enter the fallback values under the store's API settings, and save.
